The lighter colored version of the CDC Thorax Dun is a fantastic mayfly pattern for smaller water.

The CDC Thorax Dun can be fished as an emerger or dry. This Mayfly imitation sits in the miniscus. A nice delicate fly that's perfect for smaller water. 

A locally designed fly to match the Caddis and Mayfly hatches that can be quite prolific on the Thredbo. A very nice variant of the ever reliable Klinkhammer.  

Humpies are a must have in every flyfishers fly box. Originally tied as a beetle imitation but are a very versatile pattern and can be effectively used for caddis and mayfly hatches.

The CDC Caddis Green is a sits right in the miniscus. It's a great emerger or crippled pattern. This fly can also be fished wet. 

Manic Tackles Unreal Egg is just right. A glass bead with a realistic veil it tumbles along the bottom but rarely gets snagged. 

Mick Hall's Laser Minnow has a sparse body and a heavy tungsten bead. Great streamer pattern for aggressive trout. You could even use this fly in the saltwater.
