Season start for 2026/2027

Our Trout Season is approaching and it's time to get the gear out!

Clean fly lines, lubed reels, fly boxes checked and making sure the Waders aren't leaking!

High Country Outfitters is stocked and ready to go for the season with lots of new goodies in stock,

Our Fly selection is growing with new Euro Style Nymphs and a great range of Streamers.

There is plenty of choices in Fly Lines from Scientific Anglers Magnitude Smooth Infinity with a 10ft Clear Tip, new Airflo Superflo Max Universal Smooth with the latest Elivate Elite Coating and from Rio we have the Gold XP and Gold Max.

We have new Rod Kits from Primal, that come in Rod and Reel cases from 3wt to 7wt starting at $299,99

Vision has updated the Hero range which has been very popular.

We have a great range of premium rods from Scott and reels from Lamson.

If you are chasing Waders and Boots we have a great range and some good specials are available on line or in store.

The Lakes have been fishing well from the banks with Jindabyne rising with the snow melt and Eucumbene is also rising slowly.

The rivers will be low as we have had very little rain but the forecast looks good for early next week.
